This online collegial learning and support opportunity is open to all Kentucky K-8 math intervention teachers who want to grow as professionals and share their knowledge, successes and struggles with fellow math intervention teachers.   \n\nThis 2025-2026 Collegial Support Group for Kentucky Math Interventionists includes the following: \n1. Seven one-hour monthly ZOOM meetings where participants can interact with fellow math interventionists and learn from KCM Director Cindy Aossey and other special guest speakers.\n2. A monthly newsletter filled with teacher tips and intervention resources will be emailed to all registered Kentucky math interventionists.  \n3. Active participants will receive the 2025-2026 KY MIT Welcome Kit, as well as two MIT Support Boxes (one in Fall 2025 and one in Spring 2026). \n4. Because virtual is great but in-person is better, the KCM will hold a special, invitation-only get-together for this group at the 2026 KCM Conference in Lexington on Monday or Tuesday, March 9 or 10, 2026.  \n\nCOST: FREE for Kentucky math interventionists. (You must work as a math interventionist in a KY school or school district to join this group.)   \nLOCATION: Virtual ZOOM meetings \nTIME: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Eastern (which is 10:30 am - 11:30 am Central) \nDATES: 7 Select WEDNESDAYS September 2025 through April 2026 \n1. April 1, 2026 \n\nNOTES ABOUT THIS KY MIT COLLEGIAL SUPPORT GROUP:\n1.) Kentucky math interventionists may register at any time. You do not need to be able to attend every virtual ZOOM meeting to register and receive the monthly newsletter; however, the 2025-2026 KY MIT Welcome Kit and the Support Boxes will only be mailed to active participants (those who are able to attend the ZOOM meetings).\n2.) The Welcome Kit and Support Boxes will be mailed to the address you enter on your registration. The KCM cannot mail to P.O. Boxes. Please provide the address for where your office is located. If you work for the entire school district, but your office is located at one school in the District, provide the address for that school but enter your position title as District Math Interventionist.       \n2.) All registered participants will receive the monthly newsletter and the ZOOM meeting link via an email from KCM Director Cindy Aossey. Those emails may go to your junk or spam folder so check there regularly after registering for this event. \n3.) The KCM asks that participants in the monthly ZOOM meetings list their full name in the ZOOM meeting, or their first initial and last name, so the KCM can record attendance. Participants in the monthly ZOOM meetings will be emailed a KCM Attendance Certificate for each session they attend.\n\nThe KCM's main offices are located at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY.
