GUIDING PRINCIPLES SESSION #2
What it really means to teach elementary mathematics – building community around guiding principles, with Dr. Jonathan Thomas

The KCM is proud to announce a series of virtual professional learning sessions for K-5 math educators called Guiding Principles. These Guiding Principles Sessions (Fall 2022 and Spring 2023) will focus on exploring foundational principles for teaching mathematics in elementary schools and how to build community and broader buy-in to these principles from students, colleagues, administrators, and other stakeholders. All K-5 mathematics educators are encouraged to participate - especially Math Intervention Teachers.

This 1-hour virtual session will take place on Thursday, February 9, from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Eastern Time (which is 10:30 - 11:30 am Central Time)

Please note: This session will not be recorded to watch at any other time. Participants must be able to attend this live and interactive session on Thursday, February 9 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Eastern time.

The ZOOM meeting link will be emailed to all registered participants before the session.

You do not need to have attended Guiding Principles #1 that met in November 2022 in order to attend this Guiding Principles #2 session.
