Kentucky math coaches may register at any time. You do not need to be able to attend every virtual ZOOM meeting to register and participate.

Help us spread the word! Please share this professional learning event with any Kentucky math coaches you know.

The monthly ZOOM meeting link will be emailed to all registered KY math coaches and school administrators by KCM Director Cindy Aossey or KCM Faculty Associate Dee Crescitelli. (cindy.aossey@outlook.com and cresciteld1@nku.edu) Those emails may go to your junk or spam folder so check there regularly after registering for this event.

The KCM asks that participants in the monthly ZOOM meetings be sure to sign in each session so the KCM can record attendance. Participants in the monthly ZOOM meetings will be emailed a KCM Attendance Certificate for each session they attend.

We hope you will take advantage of this wonderful professional learning opportunity designed specifically for Kentucky math coaches!

The KCM can be reached at kcm@nku.edu or 859-572-7690. We are located on the campus of Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY. We look forward to supporting you during the 2025-2026 school year and beyond!

2025-2026 Kentucky Math Teacher Leaders (KyMTL)

The Kentucky Mathematics Teacher Leaders (KYMTL) program brings together K–12 teachers and teacher leaders who are interested in implementing and sharing best practices in their classrooms, schools, and districts. Participating in this group is a one-year commitment that begins with an in-person meeting in September. Participants then meet monthly, either on a Wednesday evening (4:45–6:00 PM ET) or Saturday morning (8:30–9:15 AM ET) for virtual professional learning sessions. Participants choose the monthly session day and time that works best for them. The year concludes with a second in-person meeting in April.

This professional learning and support group was formed by the Kentucky Center for Mathematics (KCM) in 2020; and since that first year, the passionate members have advanced their careers and helped bring about positive changes in their classrooms, schools, and districts! (You can view the current and past KyMTLs on the the KCM website's KYMTL page under the LEADERS tab.) There is no cost for Kentucky teaches to participate in this group. Participants attend the monthly ZOOM meetings and in-person workshops facilitated by KCM Faculty Associate/NKU Education Associate Professor Funda Gonulates or other invited guest speakers who are leaders in mathematics education.
