Event Description
The Stages of Early Arithmetical Learning (SEAL) describes a progression through which young children make sense of quantity, addition and subtraction.
In PART A, participants will be introduced to the SEAL through the use of video exemplars and discussion.
In PART B, participants will connect the SEAL to the Kentucky Academic Standards-Mathematics and explore instructional experiences that will support students in meeting Grade 1 standards.
SCHEDULE:
Part A: Tuesday, June 8, 2021; 9 am - 12 pm Eastern Time. (which is 8 am - 11 am Central Time)
Part B: Friday, June 11, 2021; 9 am - 12 pm Eastern Time. (which is 8 am - 11 am Central Time)
COST: Free.
A zoom link for each meeting will be emailed to all registered participants on June 7.
Registration Closes on Friday, June 4, 2021 at midnight.
