Event Description
Nelson County Schools has contracted with the KCM to provide customized professional learning for the 2023-24 school year.
This event is only for K-2 teachers from Nelson County Schools.
Sessions 1-3 on August 1-3, 2023 held at at Foster Heights Elementary School, 211 E. Muir St., Bardstown, KY 40004   (502) 349-7030
Session 4 on October 9, 2023 held at Thomas Nelson High School, 150 Generals Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004

6/15/23: Nelson County said participant count would be 30 teachers.
Materials cost $400 per participant. 30 X $400 = $12,000.
KCM delivered materials for 30 participants on 7/31/23 to Foster Heights Elementary.

Teresa Henderson (DIRECTOR) will be billed for the cost of the materials for this course. The KCM will pay for the facilitator's time and travel.
Hope Daugherty replaced Teresa Henderson. (Per Kelly DeLong 11/15/23)

INVOICING:
Originally, Teresa Henderson (Director) was to be invoiced for the cost of materials for all three cohorts (PreK, K-2, and 3-5) through her KCM member record and a non-dues invoice #1717; however, Nelson County later asked that the individual schools be invoiced. The individual participants were NOT invoiced.

Because the individual schools were invoiced, the amounts cover BOTH the K-2 and the 3-5 Cohorts:
INV 1719 - Boston Elementary = $2,900 under Teresa Henderson paid 7/6/23
INV 1720 - Bloomfield Elementary = $3,300 under Teresa Henderson paid 7/6/23
INV 1722 - Coxs Creek Elementary = $2,500 under Teresa Henderson paid 7/6/23
INV 1734 - for New Haven and Foster Heights = $9,000 under Hope Dougherty paid 2/1/24

And the KCM was shorted $900 versus the amount of materials kits provided for those 2 cohorts.
