Event Description
KCM's Jackson Independent Schools District Support - Kelly DeLong (2024-25)
The Kentucky Center for Mathematics (KCM) has contracted with Jackson Independent Schools to provide customized District Support for 2024-2025.

This professional learning event will track the educators from Jackson Independent Schools who attend Session 1 with Kelly DeLong on Thursday, August 15, 2024. 

Jackson Independent Schools - 2024-2025 KCM SUPPORT SCHEDULE:
1. Friday, August 30, 2024:
8:30 am - 3:30 pm ET at Jackson City School. Participants will receive materials, copies & KAS booklet for their grade level.    
2. TBD Support provided by Kelly in classrooms and during planning times 
3. Tuesday, January 21, 2025: Support provided by Kelly in classrooms and during planning times
4. Thursday, March 27, 2025:  Support provided by Kelly in classrooms and during planning times


Each participant will receive a booklet containing the Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) for their grade level(s) and a KCM folder containing a copy set for the information to be covered during Session 1, as well as materials kit for their grade level.

1st Grade = 2
2nd Grade = 2

TOTAL = 8 participants, but 2 teachers get materials & copies for multiple grades   


ABOUT THE KENTUCKY CENTER FOR MATHEMATIC (KCM)
The KCM is a legislated, state-funded, non-profit agency that provides professional learning events and materials for math educators. Our main office is located on the campus of Northern Kentucky University (NKU) in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
