Montgomery County District Support - MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL - Kelly DeLong (2024-25)
The Kentucky Center for Mathematics (KCM) has contracted with Montgomery County Schools to provide customized District Support for 2024-2025. 
The Montgomery County Schools Board of Education Center is located at 3400 Indian Mound Drive, Mount Sterling, KY 40353; 859-497-8760
J.B. McNabb Middle School is located at 3570 Indian Mound Dr, Mt Sterling, KY 40353; 859-497-8770
Montgomery County High School is located at 724 Woodford Drive, Mount Sterling, KY 40353; 859-497-8765

This event will record the Middle School 6-8 and the High School 9-12 educators who participate in the following 2024-25 KCM Professional Learning Events for Montgomery County Schools. This customized district support includes 3 in-person professional learning sessions that MS and HS educators will attend together at the Montgomery County Schools Board of Education Center, and 1 all-day coaching visit at each school - all facilitated by KCM Executive Director Kelly DeLong.    

At Session 1, attendees will receive:
  • 1-2 boxes of math materials for their grade (see list below by grade)
  • A copy of the book Principles to Action (Please note: K-12 TEACHER LEADERS who attended the KCM's June 6, 2024 session received their copy at that session and should not take another copy - thank you!) 
  • A KCM folder containing a Middle School 6-8 copy set 
  • Middle School Teachers will receive a Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) booklet for their grade; the KAS for the High School teachers are included in their KCM folder copy set.
KIT 1 and KIT 2 MATERIALS KITS PREPARED BY GRADE LEVEL:
6th Grade = 3 teachers; each teacher gets two KIT 1 boxes and one KIT 2 box
7th Grade = 3 teachers; each teacher gets one KIT 1 box and one KIT 2 box
8th Grade = 3 teachers; each teacher gets two KIT 1 boxes and two KIT 2 boxes
High School = 9 teachers; each teacher gets two KIT 1 boxes and two Kit 2 boxes
TOTAL = 18 Teachers (9 Middle School and 9 High School)

ABOUT THE KENTUCKY CENTER FOR MATHEMATIC (KCM)
The KCM is a legislated, state-funded, non-profit agency that provides professional learning events and materials for math educators. Our main office is located on the campus of Northern Kentucky University (NKU) in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
