6/13/23: The KCM regrets to announce that this AVMR 1 Refresher course has been canceled due to low registrations. The registered teachers will be notified via email. 

Have you completed Add+VantageMR® (AVMR) Course 1 training and would love a quality refresher course before the new school year starts? Have you been using the AVMR Course 1 materials but know its time to reboot your learning? The KCM guarantees you will find some new and amazing ways to use the materials. This summer is a great time to refresh your knowledge and the KCM is pleased to offer this 1-day AVMR 1 refresher course in Louisville, KY at no cost to Kentucky educators.  

COURSE TITLE: Add+VantageMR® (AVMR) Course 1 REFRESHER

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
This in-person, one-day professional learning event is for math educators who have completed Add+VantageMR® (AVMR) Course 1.

* Refresh and renew your knowledge of AVMR Course 1.
* Connect with other AVMR teachers to share ideas and resources.
* Topics will include the assessments and models for Number Words & Numerals, Structuring Number and Addition & Subtraction; the Learning Framework in Number (LFIN); and the Classroom Instructional Framework for Early Number (CIFEN). 
 

Date: Wednesday, July 12, 2023
Time: 9 am - 4 pm Eastern with a 1-hour lunch break. (*Participants are on their own for lunch.) 
Cost: Free for Kentucky educators
Location: Louisville, KY
VENUE = University of Louisville Conference Center, Founders Union Building (Room 201), ShelbyHurst Campus, 450 N Whittington Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40222   

Registration closes on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Participants must register by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, July 4, in order to attend.

Registration limit for this course is 25 participants. Once that limit is reached, the KCM will be unable to accept any additional participants.
